Most Saturdays, various MAG members get together on the top of the hill at the Spaceguard Centre and work on the telescope.

We would love to have any assistance you can offer. Volunteers have done everything from bricklaying, painting walls, designing electronic controls, writing software, cleaning the carpets, laying the carpets, wiring up sockets, precision mechanical engineering, carpentry … the list is endless!

If you think you could come help out, be it for just an hour as a one off or become one of our regular weekly volunteers you would be most welcome. We provide teas and coffees and chocolate cake as well so you will be well looked after!
