At the 14th February 2025 Special General Meeting Jay stepped down as our glorious leader. As a result MAG adopted a new constitution, elected a committee and took over running of the Drax telescope.

As part of this reorganisation MAG has also taken over administration of the charity Spaceguard UK which has the aims of assisting the building and running of Drax with an emphasis on furthering the NEO work that Spaceguard UK has been engaged in for many years.
