{"id":146,"date":"2025-04-17T19:26:33","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T19:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marchesastro.uk\/?p=146"},"modified":"2025-04-17T19:28:12","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T19:28:12","slug":"april-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marchesastro.uk\/?p=146","title":{"rendered":"April Monthly Meeting: Using Setting Circles by Heather"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This was a 2 part meeting. we started with a General Meeting where we discussed a few important matters and then Heather gave a talk on how to use setting circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outcome of the GM was that  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jay Tate was elected as our Honorary President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anne Tate was appointed as an Honorary Member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>we agreed that our financial year would run from 1st September.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We agreed the keep the current subs at \u00a324 per year or part thereof.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We agreed to keep using email as our group communications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Heather&#8217;s talk took us through a slightly light hearted view of how to use setting circles for both Drax and other smaller telescopes.
